About — Bambamos
Our story · Spain

Hello, I’m Kate.
The heart behind Bambamos.

I’m a mum of two little boys, and Bambamos began in our own family.

Joy in the simplest things

When my oldest started at an outdoor school, I noticed how much pure joy little children find with almost nothing: jumping in muddy puddles, looking for ladybirds under bark, building stick forts, filling pockets with leaves.

No toys, no plan. Just time outside, and someone close by who was curious too.

Then · Music, outside

A different kind of orchestra

Music has always been close to my heart. I studied it, and now I share it with my boys at the piano at home.

Outside, we found another kind: tapping sea shells together, rubbing pinecones, listening to whether big shells sound different from small ones, and how dry sticks click against stones.

And then · The bug camp

A tiny camp, built for the bugs

One afternoon we built a little camp out of sticks and leaves. For days he ran back to check who had moved in.

  • Day one — woodlice!
  • Day two — ants!!
  • Day three — still checking…
That was when I knew

These were moments worth keeping.

A stick camp. A pocket of shells. A walk that didn’t need a plan — just a child who wanted to go again.

So I started making what I wished we had.

Those little adventures were becoming some of our favourite family memories. So I began creating short, printable invitations — gentle prompts for a 20-minute walk, with almost nothing to prepare. Print, pack one card, go outside, and let your child lead.
